I tried to make a tough tank type character based on supernatural. Here are the lessons I have learned.

I went str/con. I wanted to toss stuff around. I tried con/rec on a retconned character with regen, but it wasn't helping me live.

What works for me is this

-bestial fury, devour essence...these two are nice life helpers. One of your lashes can be talented for a bleed that is 100% so do not talent for 20% bleed on fury. Devouring bleeding foes ups the heal on it, making it a real melee range life gain attack.

-iron cyclone with vortex technique is your friend. This draws them on top of you into a cluster, and knocks them down, interrupting their damage. If you have some pesky henchman standing off and shooting, stand in the middle of the enemy spread and cyclone to pull them in tight.

-condemn works ok, but you are not meleeing during charge. For me this meant laser knight dropped and I took a beating. I liked the chainsaw power from gagets better for damage (I made a lumberjack guy). You need dps in this game, and sadly nothing in might or supernatural gives you that. Sets like archery, munitions, power armor gagets tend to have pretty nice damage attacks that you can use.

-I went with defiance from might as my passive slot. I hear invuln from PA is better. I took energy shield from PA and did the laser knight advantage for 3pts, which means if you made a melee attack, you are in a shield block state. If you run bestial fury, that is enough to keep up block state from laser knight all the time, really helping your survival. I tried regen v. defiance, and I was tougher with defiance.

-The aspects are 'cherry on top' powers with little gain that you may take when you have everything else you may want.

-You are going to want resurgance.

-Iron lariat is on cooldown, which makes it not as useful. If they got rid of the cooldown, you could use it to draw in the few iron cyclone did not, and hold them in range.

-Venomous breath and aspect of flies are weak powers, seriously in need of dev attention. Skip them.

-coils is a single target hold. I would rather have an AOE hold like the nets from gagets or thunderclap from might...you see you can cluster them in tight with iron cyclone, then you want to hold them in place with an AOE hold or root.

-rebirth is fun...if you get an unlucky break, you can pop this and turn the tide.
